The Autonomous Sinking Fund of Cameroon (CAA) is a public institution set up by Decree N° 85/1176 of 28 August 1985. Its mission is to render Cameroon’s financial market reliable and secure.
Its missions include:
• Managing the public loans of the State, public and semi-public entities and its associates;
• Providing the government with the information needed to formulate the country’s debt policy;
• seeking, studying and negotiating foreign and domestic financing for the State in conjunction with the ministries concerned;
• participating in money and financial markets.
